Obituary of William Donald Edwards

On September 9th, 2022, William Donald Edwards of Hillsboro passed away at the age of 62 “Bill”, as most knew him was born September 5th, 1960 in Portland, OR to parents Donald and Kiyoko Edwards. He was the youngest of 4 children; brother Hisashi Nagai, and sisters Taeko Ehn and Reiko Sherlock. He graduated from Gladstone Highschool then studied Business and Computer Science at Oregon State University where he met the love of his life and became a lifelong Beaver’s fan! Bill was most known for his love of sports, baseball and basketball specifically. He coached young athletes for youth and high school sports and was an avid Trail Blazers and LA Dodgers fan! Bill dedicated 20 years of service working guest specialties at the Portland Moda Center indoor sports arena. Outside of sports he spent 30+ years working in the Industrial Laundry Services throughout the Portland Metro area. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years Lisa Edwards, son Jeremy and daughter Brittany, as well as 2 granddaughters, Sophia and Evelyn Edwards. He will be dearly missed by many other friends, coworkers and family members who had the pleasure of knowing him.
