Obituary of Suzy Etsuko McMullin

Suzy McMullin was born on Feb 11, 1931 and passed away peacefully on July 28, 2018. Suzy was born in Sapporo Hokkaido, Japan to Eijiro & Chisa Maruyama, joining 7 siblings. Suzy met Neil McMullin in Japan while Neil was stationed in the Army, married in 1956 and came to the United States. Together they had 4 boys; Edward, Edwin, Edmund and Edland. Edmund passed away in 1963 as a 3-month-old infant. Suzy lived her whole adult life in Beaverton, worked at Tektronix and retired after 22 years of service. She was recognized several times by Tektronix during her career. She loved her home in Japan and here in the states. She made many trips to Japan to visit family and friends. She loved to sew, cook and grow plants and vegetables in her garden. She had an infectious smile and laugh and will be remembered by many for her she sweet and generous nature. She was a wonder grandmother to her grandchildren and will not be forgotten. She will be missed by her friends and family.
