First off, I want to mention that while I didn't personally know Brian, it is clear that he was a very special person... Who both loved and was loved by many..
Although it has been some time since Brian passed, I wanted to reach out to those who loved him most, because many times the months after a cherished loved ones passing are difficult, as people return to living their lives, and support calls and visits become less frequent.
My message to all who cared about Brian is that you will see Brian again! How can I say this not ever having actually witnessed Brian as a person?
Jesus gives us this promise... "All those in the Memorial Tombs will hear his voice and come out...". Acts 24:15 also states "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous"
My Hope is that these promises give you a lift and if you want to learn more about the Bible's hope for those who have passed on and the promise of being with them again, please follow the links below....

I hope this brings you some comfort and builds up your hope for Brian to again be with all those who so clearly love and cherish the person he is....

When my parents moved us to Eastern OR as a young teenager I lamented the loss of my little group of friends in the Valley. And, sure enough, as kids do, we grew apart with the distance as well as age. Except for Brian, because for him loyalty and friendship were more then words. They were the embodiment life and lifes journey to which Brian always. trod with smiling abandon. He was the most natural of us. Optimistic without being naive, confident without arrogance; his capacity for fun and adventure was both limitless and infectious. I was the polar opposite of Brian. So much that my teenage angst and debauchery strained my relationship with my parents to the breaking point. I was homeless and quickly spiraling out of control, everyone knew that it was just a matter of time before I exploded, Brian knew it too, but rather than distancing himself, he embraced me, and took me in. I wish I could say that was enough to turn me around- Still, even when I managed to burn that bridge (God bless you Iris). I never doubted for a moment that Brian cared for me and would always preserve our friendship. He was the best of us, and his life and light I will carry with me, until he and I meet again.

Iris and family. I am so sad to hear this news. He was the same age as my son. Such a wonderful man. I know you will have many memories. I am praying for you all. It is difficult to express feelings of this loss but I will be thinking about you all.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brian and Jackie in 2017 at my daughter Emily's marriage to Art Riddle. Brian was Art's Best Man. He had a bright light and presence. No words can express the devastation of Brian's loss to his beloved wife, son, and family, and to his dear friends. I am so very sorry.

Iris and family,
Ever since we heard the news, your family has been in our thoughts and prayers. Take great comfort in the memories. I'm sure Dorothy welcomed him home but not before chastising him for arriving so early.
