Dorothy Louise Meeker

Dorothy Louise Meeker passed away peacefully at Rosewood Specialty Care on May 30, 2019 at 4:30 AM. Dorothy was born on September 1929 in Hillsboro, Oregon as the only daughter of Henry and Henrietta Mohr.  Dorothy grew up in Hillsboro and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1947, and then attended Northwest Business College in Portland, completing accounting courses.  She worked for various businesses, including “Milo’s Electric”, as a bookkeeper.   

Dorothy Louise Mohr married Milo Meeker on May 11, 1951.  They were married for 68 years 11 months and 3 days.  She enjoyed gardening, taking good care of her home, and took many trips to Central Oregon with Milo.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Christine & her husband Gene Horner. Granddaughter:  Malina Vaill.   Grandson:  Jesse & his wife Ruth Munch.  Great Grandchildren: Haliey, Taylor Valimont, & Nevaeh & Makinzie Vaill.  Great Great Grandson: Vance Crim.
