Obituary of Elizabeth Catherine Shell

Elizabeth Catherine Shell, 19, was the passenger in a car accident on July 24, 2019. Elizabeth was one of triplets born on March 16, 2000 to Jenevieve Vanier and Charles Shell. Elizabeth had a kind heart and didn’t have a single mean bone in her body. She always had a smile on her face and was there for anyone who needed a friend. She was a free spirit who saw nothing less than the best in people. Her contagious personality drew people to her. She will be missed dearly and remembered by all who knew her. 

She is survived by her parents Jenevieve Vanier and Charles Shell of Hillsboro; her stepfather Joseph Brown of Hillsboro; her three sisters: Emily Shell of Milwaukie, Nicole Teninty of Newberg, and Angela Shell of Hillsboro; her brother Matthew Shell of Hillsboro, her boyfriend Jacob Johnson of Hillsboro, her Grandparents Stephen and Kathie Vanier of Portland and Jan and Verne Shell of Ontario, OR; her great-grandmother Mary Vanier of Ashland; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

There will be a celebration of life at Sonrise Church (6701 NE Campus Drive, Hillsboro, OR, 97124) on September 14^th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Habitat for Humanity, or donate canned food to the church.
