Obituary of Charles Michael Bodie

Aug. 28, 1953 – April 29, 2021 Charles Michael “Mike” Bodie was born in Tacoma, WA and moved to Hillsboro, OR with his family in 1957. Mike passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 29 at his home in Hillsboro. Mike graduated from Hillsboro High School and continued higher education studies in Kalispell, Montana after service in the U.S. Navy on an ammunitions vessel during the Vietnam war. Following his Naval service Mike worked in construction and eventually started his own construction business. In the last decade of his pre-retirement Mike worked in maintenance and transportation for The Springs at Tanasbourne in Hillsboro. Mike was known for his beaming smile, gentle heart and love of fishing. Mike is survived by his wife, Janet Bodie of Hillsboro, his mother Beverly Bodie and brother, Steven Bodie, both of Hillsboro, and his grandson Jerimiah Borts of Vancouver, WA.. Mike is pre-deceased by his daughter Michelle Borts.
