Obituary of Anthony Giglio Rosatti

In Remembrance of Anthony Giglio Rosatti Anthony was born in Brooklyn New York but grew up in Oregon. He graduated from Beaverton High School. After graduating from High School, he joined the U.S. Navy where he served for 4 years. He then attended Portland State University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in business. He was married to Bonnie Rossi in October of 1969. They were married for 51 years. They had three children and five grandchildren. Anthony was fortunate to be able to retire early after more than 30 years of public service with Washington County where he worked as the Residential Appraisal Supervisor. Anthony’s greatest joy in life was his family. The time spent with his children and grandchildren is what he treasured more than anything else. He was happy to have his children live only 2 miles away and this enabled the family to get together frequently. He loved having family dinners where he was able to try out new recipes and cooking techniques. He took great pride in always making something unique for the dinners. Anthony lived a full and complete life. He accomplished his life goals with endless hard work and tenacity. He was a seeker of knowledge and endless learning. He had a love of architecture, history, music, photography, and astronomy. His love of gardening developed him into a master gardener. He was proud of his Italian heritage and known for his sense of humor, caring for others and willingness to help others out. His laughter was infectious and brought a smile to those around him. He formed many fond memories with family. The grandchildren will treasure their memories of the adventures they had with him. He cherished the family traditions that he was able to pass on and spend with the family.
