Obituary of Serena Jane Pearson

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 25th, at United Pentecostal Church in Oregon City, for Serena Jane Pearson who passed away September 1, 2021 at age 74, in Portland, Oregon. Serena was born March 1, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas to parents Hazel Burlene Moore and Oscar Druey Moore. In 1953, at the age of 6 Serena moved with her parents and her oldest sister Marletta to Springfield, Oregon. Serena gave birth to Denise Dvorak September 1, 1969. Followed by Tammie Johnson on January 14, 1971. At the age of 37, Serena gave birth to Amanda Pearson July 31, 1984. Serena received her CNA license in 1992 and would work in Nursing facilities for over 25 years. She worked at Kmart as a Manager in the shoes department until she retired in 2008. Serena lived her life for the LORD and her family. Serena will be dearly missed. She proceeded in death by her brother David Moore in 1950, her Father in 1994, Mother in 2007, and her oldest sister Marletta Sorter in 2016. Survivors include her three daughters, Denise Dvorak, Tammie Johnson, and Amanda Pearson. Her siblings Linda Dickenson, Randy Moore, Tim Moore, and Dan Moore. At the time of her death she had 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
