Obituary of Dona M. Allison Eadus

Dona Marie Jackson Allison Eadus was born on March 25, 1924 in a logging camp in Talent, Oregon to Albert W. Jackson and Helen O'Brien Jackson with her mother passing away 3 days after her birth. Dona was later adopted by the Allison family. After graduating from Eugene High School, she lived for a time in the Vanport area prior to the flood. Dona married John Schilling and they divorced after 29 years. Their union resulted in one child, JoAnn Marie Schilling Armstrong. Dona later married Ralph Thomas Eadus who predeceased her in death after nearly 40 years of marriage. She was very proud of being a certified secretary and worked for Portland Public Schools until her retirement. Mrs. Eadus passed away on May 1, 2022 at Kaiser Westside Hospital after living several years at the Avamere Beaverton care facility. She is survived by her daughter. No services will be held.
