Anne Tee

Obituary of Anne Helen Tee

Anne H. Tee was born in Quincy, Massachusetts, the second daughter of Pietro and Anna Messina. After finishing high school and working at Squantum Naval Air Station during WWII, Anne married Ronald Tee in England. They first settled in Quincy, then moved to Queens, New York and then moved to Germany. After a divorce, Anne returned to Quincy where she worked for several years. In 1994, Anne moved to Hillsboro, Oregon to be close to her son and his family. In addition to being part of her granddaughters' lives as they grew up, she attended PCC taking classes in interior design. Anne always enjoyed travel so in the late 1990’s, Anne joined the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce trip to Hillsboro’s sister city in Japan. In 2001, Anne was able to join a tour group to China fulfilling a childhood dream. She was active with the Hillsboro Senior Center participating in many trips including an Alaska cruise & land tour in 2008. Anne also participated in the Saints Alive group at Calvary Chapel Worship Center. Anne is survived by her brother Phillip Messina (Mass.), her son Ronald Tee and his wife Anne of Hillsboro, by two granddaughters and by numerous nephews and nieces. The family thanks the staff of Evelyn’s Adult Foster Care Home for enriching the last year of Anne’s life.
