Obituary of Mary Louise Minty

Mary Louise Minty went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 14th 2022. She was born Mary Louise Davis in Hillsboro Oregon on July 28th 1933 to Warren and Esther Klair Davis. Her siblings were Clara Adams, Emagene Megert, Wilma Sippey-Poore, Fred Davis, Pat Cotton, Jim Davis and Calvin Davis. She grew up on an 80 acre homestead on Dixie Mountain in Washington County Oregon. On May 4th 1953 she married her high school sweetheart Keith L. Minty. Soon after he joined the Air Force. They moved several times over 20 years before settling in North Las Vegas Nevada. She got her certification in cosmetology and enjoyed cutting hair for her many friends and family. She also served as a special ed assistant and was instrumental in the development of many special needs children. She was recognized by the Governor of Nevada for her outstanding efforts. She was a member of Nellis Baptist Church since 1973 and was loved by everyone she touched. She is survived by her loving husband Keith Minty, son Ron Minty from Wichita Kansas, daughter Karen Doucet from Hillsboro Oregon, son Gary Minty from Broadbent Oregon, and 8 grandchildren, Joshua, Rhonda, Ryan, Christopher, Rebecca, Mathew, Shayla and Kylee and 11 great grandchildren and many many friends who loved her so much. A small family gathering will be held in Hillsboro Oregon on January 7th at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, Hillsboro, Oregon. She will be laid to rest at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Hillsboro, Oregon. A celebration of life will be held at Nellis Baptist Church on January 28th 2023 at 1:00. “Praise The Lord” A celebration of life for Mary will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Nellis Baptist Church, 4300 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89115.
