Obituary of Eleanor Margaret Kraker

Eleanor was born June 17th, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York where she grew up. In 1945, she married Rudolph Kraker. While living in New York, Eleanor was a great stay-at-home mother of her 3 boys. Then in September of 1965, the family moved to Aloha, Oregon, where the family remained. Eleanor then went to work for the Beaverton School District and also volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital. She also worked for Tektronix for many years before retiring in 1988. Eleanor was very outgoing and friendly and had many friends who enjoyed her wit and humor. She was a skilled artist and excelled at the art of china painting. A devout Catholic, she regularly attended church services at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Beaverton with her husband, Rudolph. Sadly, Eleanor passed away on December 3rd with her sons by her bedside, along with her faithful beagle, Maddie, next to her. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Rudolph, her sons John, Thomas and Richard and grandson, Mathew. Memorial contributions can be made in Eleanor’s name to “Bonnie Hayes Animal Shelter".
