Obituary of Carol M. Kluempke

Carol M. Welle Kluempke June 7, 1942 – April 16, 2023 Carol passed away at the age of 80. She was born in Melrose, Minnesota to Adelbert and Appolonia Welle. Carol was the third born into a family of four children. Carol and her husband Joe had been married for 55 years. Joe passed away in 2017. They have three children, Scott (wife Cheryl passed away) and children Tyler (Lindsey), great grandchildren Avery and Emma; daughter Jenna (Troy), Kim Pearson (husband David passed away) and children Hayley and Grant; Charles and wife Miranda. Carol had a full career taking care of people at St. Vincent Hospital. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, beading and planting flowers. Carol loved to entertain, making a loving home to everyone, always with a warm hug and a big smile on her face. We feel like a shining star has gone dark. She will be enormously missed. A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held May 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Juan Diego Parish, 5995 NW 178th Ave, Portland, Oregon. A lunch reception will follow the Celebration.
