Obituary of David Byron Babcock

Born May 23, 1956, and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, Feb 13, 2017. Dave is survived by his wife Kristin and sons Kyle and Shane. Dave was one of five children of Charles Byron and Joyce Babcock and grew up in Portland, moving to Cornelius in1967 at age 11. Dave played baseball up through junior high. Then Dave changed to running, both cross country and track and field in high school and college—Lane Community, OSU and U of O. Dave ran in the first few Hood to Coast relay races. Later in life, Dave enjoyed riding his bicycle and took trips to Moab with friends. Dave loved spending time with his family, especially vacations with Kristin and the boys. Dave enjoyed photography, golf, mountain biking, a little gardening and family celebrations—birthdays, and holidays. Dave will be greatly missed! Service Information
