Obituary of Yohane Nsekabashira

The late Yohane Nsekabashira was born on January 1st, 1943 in Burundi. He died on January 4th, 2017 in Portland, Oregon. He declared his father was Gwabatwa Protais and his mom was Baranyizigiye Gwasa Yohane grew up in a village called Nzove, in zone Gatsinda, Burundi. He left his country Burundi at age of 16. He leaved most of his life in Tanzania where he was refugee. In May 2007, he got a resettlement to USA where he became citizen on December 11th, 2012. Occupation Prior to living in USA, Yohane was a Farmer. In USA, he never worked because of his age. Regards Yohane was my very close friend. He was living alone. In order to comfort him, I was talking to him on phone more often. And because of his English language barrier, I was helping him as interpreter each time I am available. I was visiting him whether he was sick or not. Not very often, but Yohane was visiting my house too. Also, some of his friends were showing the same love to him. So thanks to all of you who gave yourselves to help the late Yohane Nsekabashira. Thanks to all of you who participated in contributing financially or anyhow to the funeral needs. May Almighty God bless you all. Each time I was at his apartment, he endeavored to looking for something for me to eat or drink, then he reminisced stories of his youth age.
