Obituary of Myrtle Clara Maier

Myrtle Clara Maier, 92, of Beaverton, OR, passed away on Aug. 29, 2016. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, Sep. 7th at Valley Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at 12:00pm-1:00pm at Valley Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Valley Memorial Park Funeral Home in Hillsboro, OR. Myrtle was born in Altoona, PA on Dec. 1, 1923. She graduated from Altoona High School in 1941. Myrtle was married to Joseph Maier on Jun. 6, 1944; they were married 51 years. Myrtle was a homemaker with various part time jobs. She enjoyed Round & Square Dancing. She was also actively involved in Church and held various positions within it. Myrtle is survived by 2 daughters, Jackie Slezinger and Marilyn Anderson, 5 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren, and other family and friends. Service Information
